Finish Options
Every Finish. Every Look. Your Choice.
One of the biggest advantages of vinyl over paint is the sheer range of finishes available — including looks that are physically impossible to achieve with traditional automotive paint. Here’s what we work with.
Gloss
High-shine, deep-reflective finish that mimics factory paint at its most vibrant. Available in virtually any colour, including shades impossible to source as OEM paint. The most popular choice for colour-change wraps.
Most popular for colour change
Matte
Flat, non-reflective finish with a premium understated look. Matte wrap is increasingly popular on sports cars and luxury vehicles — and achieves a look that would cost significantly more as a factory paint option.
Factory-impossible matte tones
Satin
The midpoint between gloss and matte — a soft sheen that catches light without full reflectivity. Satin finishes are particularly sought after on dark and metallic tones for a sophisticated, low-key premium effect.
Sophisticated mid-sheen
Chrome & Metallic
Mirror-like chrome finishes and deep metallic effects that are entirely unique to vinyl — no paint process can replicate genuine mirror chrome. Dramatic visual impact for accent panels, roofs, and full body treatments.
Impossible with paint alone
Carbon Fibre Texture
Realistic woven carbon fibre pattern in 3D textured vinyl — perfect for hoods, roofs, mirror caps, spoilers, and interior trim. Delivers the premium carbon look without the cost or weight of real carbon fibre panels.
Sport & premium styling
Custom Print & Digital Graphics
Full-colour digital printing on vinyl allows for any design — photographic imagery, gradients, logos, patterns, or bespoke artwork. Ideal for commercial fleet graphics and one-of-a-kind personal vehicles.
Unlimited design possibilities
Colour-Shift & Specialty Films
We also install specialty films including colour-shift / flip vinyl that changes colour depending on viewing angle and lighting — one of the most striking and unique finishes available. Ask about colour-shift options when you request your quote.

Who It’s For
Why People Choose Vehicle Wrapping
Vinyl wrapping serves an enormous range of purposes — from personal style to business strategy. Here’s where it makes the most sense.
Personal Colour Change
Want your car in a colour the manufacturer never offered — or in matte black when it came in white? Wrapping achieves any colour, finish, and texture combination without touching the factory paint or affecting resale value.
Sport & Performance Styling
Racing stripes, carbon fibre accents, two-tone roof and bonnet treatments, and aggressive colour combinations are all achievable with vinyl — and all reversible if your tastes change or you plan to sell.
Protecting Resale Value
A wrap acts as a full-body sacrificial layer, protecting factory paint from UV, chips, and minor abrasion. When removed, the paint underneath is in showroom condition — which can significantly impact trade-in and private sale value.
Business & Fleet Branding
A wrapped van or fleet vehicle is one of the most cost-effective forms of advertising available — generating thousands of impressions per day. Professional graphics applied by trained installers represent your business correctly from day one.
Lease Vehicle Personalisation
Wrapping a leased vehicle allows full personalisation without violating the terms of the lease agreement — the factory finish remains untouched beneath the vinyl and is fully restored when removed at lease end.
Luxury & Exotic Vehicle Customisation
For high-value vehicles where a permanent colour change would be ill-advised, wrapping achieves a bespoke custom finish that preserves the original paint — protecting both the aesthetic and the financial value of the vehicle.

Our Process
How We Wrap Your Vehicle
A professional wrap is a precision installation — not a sticker application. Every stage matters, and preparation is where quality wraps are won or lost.
Design Consultation & Film Selection
We start by understanding exactly what you want — colour, finish, scope (full, partial, or accents), and any graphic or branding requirements. For commercial projects, we work with your design files or create artwork from scratch. For colour-change wraps, we can provide physical film samples so you see the exact finish before committing.
⏱ Before booking — no obligation
Thorough Vehicle Decontamination Wash
The vehicle undergoes a full decontamination wash — removing all surface dirt, wax, grease, and contaminants. Any residue left on the paint surface becomes a contamination point under the vinyl, causing bubbles, poor adhesion, and premature edge lifting. This step cannot be skipped or rushed.
⏱ Half day — critical for adhesion quality
Panel Prep, Disassembly & Masking
Trim pieces, door handles, badges, and rubber seals are removed where necessary to allow the vinyl to wrap cleanly around panel edges rather than being cut at the edge — which is what leads to premature lifting and an unfinished appearance. Proper disassembly is a key differentiator between professional and amateur installations.
⏱ Done properly — not rushed
Film Application — Panel by Panel
Vinyl is applied panel by panel using professional squeegees and heat guns to stretch, conform, and adhere the film to every curve and contour of the vehicle. Air channels are worked out progressively to achieve a bubble-free, perfectly flat surface. Complex curves and recesses require patience and skill — this is where experience shows.
⏱ The longest stage — 1–4 days for a full wrap
Edge Sealing & Post-Heat Treatment
All edges, seams, and wrap-around points are heat-set with a heat gun to activate the vinyl’s adhesive fully and prevent edge lifting — one of the most common failure points of amateur wraps. Post-heat treatment also ensures the vinyl has conformed completely to any complex shapes or recesses applied to earlier.
⏱ Seals in the installation quality
Final Inspection, Reassembly & Handover
Every panel is inspected under multiple light conditions for bubbles, lifted edges, visible seams, or uneven tension. Trim and badges are reinstalled. We walk you through the finished result and cover the specific aftercare steps that matter most in the first 48–72 hours — when the adhesive is still fully activating and the vehicle should avoid washing.

Before You Book
What Your Paint Needs to Be Wrap-Ready
Vinyl wrap reveals — and permanently seals in — whatever condition the paint beneath it is in. Getting the prep right before wrapping protects your investment and the final result.
Ideal Conditions for Wrapping
Factory paint in good overall condition with intact clear coat
No active rust, paint lifting, or peeling panels
No significant stone chip craters or deep gouges in high-traffic areas
Previously resprayed panels are fine if paint is solid and cured
Paint correction completed beforehand for best results (swirls and defects will show under vinyl)
Issues to Resolve Before Wrapping
Rust bubbles or flaking paint — vinyl will not adhere over these and will eventually lift
Deep dents in panels — visible under the vinyl as texture telegraphing
Fresh respray that hasn’t fully cured — outgassing causes bubbling under film
Wax, ceramic coating residue, or silicone contamination — prevents adhesion
Severely oxidised or chalky paint — vinyl will bond poorly and be difficult to remove cleanly
Pair With Paint Correction First
If your paint has swirl marks, light scratches, or oxidation, we recommend completing a paint correction before wrapping. Any defect in the paint surface will remain visible through the vinyl — correction beforehand ensures the wrap goes onto a flawless base. We can schedule both in a single visit.
Wrap Care
How to Keep Your Wrap Looking Sharp for Years
A professionally installed wrap on a well-maintained vehicle lasts 5–7 years. These habits are what separate a wrap that looks great at year five from one that’s peeling at year two.
No Automatic Car Washes — Ever
Rotating brushes in automatic car washes are the fastest way to destroy a wrap. They lift edges, create micro-tears in the film surface, and compromise the finish in ways that aren’t immediately obvious but accumulate rapidly. Hand wash only.
Hand Wash With Wrap-Safe Products
Use a pH-neutral, non-abrasive automotive shampoo — not dish soap or solvent-based cleaners, which break down vinyl adhesive and film finish. Rinse thoroughly, wash gently with a soft microfibre mitt, and dry with a clean microfibre towel.
Keep Pressure Washer Distance in Check
Pressure washing is fine at safe distances — maintain at least 12 inches from the wrap surface and avoid directing the spray directly at edges or seams. High-pressure streams at close range will lift wrap edges over time and water-intrude under the film.
Park Covered When Possible
Prolonged UV exposure degrades vinyl finish and adhesive — particularly for matte and satin films, which are more UV-sensitive than gloss. Covered parking extends wrap life significantly, especially in hot, sunny climates. A car cover is worthwhile for extended outdoor storage.
Remove Contaminants Promptly
Bird droppings, tree sap, and industrial fallout are acidic and will etch or stain vinyl if left to bake in. Blot — don’t wipe — with a damp microfibre cloth as soon as possible. Wiping dry droppings can scratch and damage the film surface.
Wait 48–72 Hours After Installation Before Washing
The adhesive continues activating after installation and needs time to cure fully. Washing too soon — or exposing the wrap to heavy rain immediately after installation — can compromise edge adhesion before it has set. Follow the post-installation instructions we provide at handover.

Services That Go Hand-in-Hand With Wrapping
A wrap looks its best when the rest of the vehicle matches the same standard. These services pair naturally — many clients book them together.
Paint Restoration & Correction
Complete paint correction before wrapping ensures the vinyl goes onto a defect-free surface — any swirls or imperfections in the paint will telegraph through the film.
Learn moreCeramic Coating & Paint Protection
A ceramic coating applied over your finished wrap adds UV protection, makes maintenance washing easier, and extends the wrap’s visual life significantly.
Learn moreWindow Tinting & UV Protection
Tinted windows complete the blacked-out or colour-matched aesthetic of a wrap — and the UV blocking protects both interior and the vinyl film from sun degradation.
Learn moreDent Repair & Surface Restoration
Any dents in panels should be repaired before wrapping — they’ll show clearly through the vinyl. Completing dent repair first ensures a perfectly flat wrap surface.
Learn moreHeadlight Restoration & Clarity Enhancement
A sharp new wrap alongside hazy yellowed headlights is a mismatch. Headlight restoration makes the complete front end look intentional and cohesive.

Vehicle Wrapping — FAQ
Straightforward answers to the questions we hear most before clients book.
When removed by a professional using heat and the correct technique, a vehicle wrap comes off cleanly with no damage to factory paint underneath — provided the paint was in sound condition when the wrap was applied. Wraps left on beyond their lifespan (typically 7+ years) become more difficult to remove as the adhesive degrades. Paint that was already compromised — peeling, heavily oxidised, or respray with poor adhesion — may be affected during removal. This is why we assess paint condition before wrapping and advise accordingly.
A professional-grade vinyl wrap typically lasts 5–7 years with proper care. Lifespan depends on climate (hot, UV-intense environments degrade vinyl faster), maintenance habits (hand washing vs. machine washing), and parking conditions (covered vs. full-sun outdoor parking). Partial wraps on frequently exposed areas like hoods and roofs may see slightly shorter lifespans than wrapped panels on the sides of the vehicle. We use premium film materials to ensure the best possible longevity.
Previously resprayed vehicles can be wrapped provided the paint is solid, fully cured, and adhering well to the panel. A wrap can actually be applied over an existing wrap in some cases, though we generally recommend removing the existing wrap first to assess the paint condition beneath it — and to ensure the added film thickness doesn’t cause fitment issues around trims and seals. We’ll assess this at the consultation stage.
In most cases, yes — you need to inform your insurer of a vehicle wrap, particularly for colour-change wraps. Failure to notify your insurer of a modification can invalidate your policy. Most insurers treat wraps as a declared modification with minimal premium impact, especially for colour-change wraps on vehicles that remain the same in all other respects. Commercial fleet graphics are generally more straightforward as they don’t alter the vehicle’s base colour. Always check with your specific insurer before or immediately after wrapping.
For most colour-change scenarios, yes — a professional vinyl wrap is significantly more affordable than a quality full respray, while also being reversible (preserving the original paint) and faster to complete. The cost advantage is particularly clear for specialty finishes like matte, satin, or chrome — which would be extremely expensive to achieve in paint. A respray becomes the better option only when the paint has been compromised to the point where wrapping over it would produce poor results — such as with rust, severe peeling, or major panel damage.
Yes — vehicle wrapping is one of the most popular customisation options specifically because it’s reversible. Provided the wrap is professionally removed before returning the vehicle at lease end, and the paint underneath is in the condition it was before wrapping, there is typically no issue with the lease terms. However, lease agreements vary — always review your specific contract or confirm with your leasing company before proceeding. We can provide documentation of the vehicle’s pre-wrap paint condition if required.
Yes, and in many cases we recommend it. Paint correction should happen before wrapping — defects in the paint will show through the vinyl. Ceramic coating can be applied over a finished vinyl wrap to add UV protection and make maintenance washing easier. PPF (Paint Protection Film) can be combined with a colour-change wrap on high-impact zones for double-layer protection. We can coordinate all of these in a planned sequence during a single multi-day appointment.
