For severely overgrown plants, we’ll often recommend a phased approach: a significant reduction cut first, followed by a shaping visit a few weeks later once the plant has recovered. Flowering shrubs should be trimmed right after their bloom period ends — trimming before flowering cuts off the buds. No — you don’t need to be home as long as our technician has clear access to all areas that need trimming. If any hedges are in a fenced or gated area, just make sure the gate is unlocked on the day of service. You’ll receive a completion photo and notification when we’re done.
Yes — full clipping cleanup and removal is included in every trimming appointment. We don’t leave piles of cuttings on your lawn or in your beds. Everything is collected and hauled away as part of the standard service at no extra charge.
