How long does the full visit take?
For a typical single-story home, the full package runs 3–5 hours. A two-story or larger home typically takes 5–8 hours. Add-ons extend the visit proportionally. We give you a realistic time estimate in the quote so you know what to plan for on the day of service.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Not necessarily for the exterior work — gutters, wall washing, and exterior window cleaning can be completed while you’re away as long as we have access to outdoor water and the property. For interior window cleaning, someone needs to be present. We’ll confirm access requirements when booking and make sure you know exactly what’s needed before the crew arrives.
Is pressure washing safe for my siding?
With the right technique, absolutely. The critical variable is PSI — which we calibrate to your specific siding material. Vinyl, stucco, wood, and brick all have different pressure thresholds, and we stay well within safe ranges for each. We also avoid directing pressure at seams, trim joints, and window caulk lines where water intrusion is possible. If we identify any areas of concern during the property walk, we flag them before washing rather than discovering them mid-job.
How often should I schedule a Complete Home Refresh?
Twice a year is ideal — spring after pollen and winter grime, and fall to clear gutters of leaves before the rainy season and wash summer’s accumulated buildup. Once a year works for most homes in moderate climates. Homes near trees, on dirt roads, in humid coastal areas, or with shaded north-facing walls may benefit from more frequent service due to faster algae and mold accumulation.
What if my gutters are damaged or need repairs — can you fix those too?
Gutter cleaning is included in this package — minor re-securing of loose sections is also included where we have hardware on-hand. For significant gutter damage (failed seams, improperly pitched sections, missing downspout extensions), we’ll document what we find during the service visit and can schedule a follow-up repair visit through our Exterior Repairs service. We never patch something cosmetically and call it done — if it needs a proper repair, we say so.
Can I add services after I’ve already booked?
Yes — as long as we can adjust the crew’s schedule and equipment before the visit, add-ons can be incorporated up until a day or two before the appointment.
