- Your fixture flickers or dims randomly. Flickering that isn’t tied to bulb type is almost always a loose wire connection at the fixture, a failing dimmer, or a circuit-level problem. It won’t fix itself — and in some cases it’s a fire hazard. An electrician can diagnose and repair it in a single visit.
- Your dimmer buzzes or causes flickering. Dimmer buzzing is almost always a compatibility issue between the dimmer and your LED bulbs. Most older dimmers were designed for incandescent bulbs. Replacing with an LED-compatible smart dimmer eliminates the buzz and gives you better control.

- You have a heavy fixture that needs proper support. Chandeliers and large pendant lights require a fan-rated or brace-mounted ceiling box — not a standard light box.
