Your NorTech visit
What to expect
No mystery, no guesswork. Here’s exactly how a NorTech job goes — what to do before, the standard every vetted Bay Area pro holds to, and what happens in the rare case something isn’t right.
A few minutes of prep
Before your appointment
Clear the work area
Give the pro a clear path to the spot — move fragile items and clutter so they can get straight to work.
Secure pets
Keep pets comfortable and out of the work zone — for their safety and the pro’s.
Describe it honestly
The more detail up front (a few photos, rough size, materials), the more accurate your flat price — and the fewer surprises on the day.
Be reachable
Keep your phone handy for arrival updates, and make sure someone 18+ is home to provide access.
The standard, every job
What every NorTech pro holds to
Every pro is independent, background-checked, identity-verified, and $1M insured before their first job. Here’s what that looks like at your door:
Materials & tools
🧰 Basic tools & supplies — included
Your pro arrives with the standard tools and everyday supplies — drills, saws, levels, plus fasteners, anchors, caulk, tape, and sealants. You’re never asked to provide them.
🔧 Specialty tools — rent through NorTech
Need heavy-duty or specialized equipment for the job? NorTech can rent it out as an add-on — shown and approved up front, before anything’s charged.
🪵 Materials — your choice
Supply your own project materials (paint, fixtures, flooring, trim), or have NorTech procure them for a small handling fee — quoted and approved up front.
